Gabriele Jacobs is a scholar with a distinctive expertise at the intersection of organisational behaviour, public governance, and societal resilience. She is Professor of Organisational Behaviour and Culture at Erasmus University Rotterdam and a board member of the Dutch Research Council (NWO) in the field of Social Sciences and Humanities. Her research focuses on organisational change, justice, and identity, with a strong emphasis on public safety and governance in complex societal contexts. She has coordinated and contributed to numerous national and EU-funded projects and publishes widely in leading academic journals in management and public administration, as well as in applied, policy-oriented outlets. Through her work with international research networks and as a member of the German Think Tank Öffentliche Sicherheit (Public Safety), she actively engages with policymakers and practitioners to foster new forms of societal and institutional resilience.
